JONAH WINTER
Jonah
Winter currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA. The author of many children's
books, Slope Editions released his first book of poetry, Maine, in
2002; it was chosen by judge David Lehman as winner of the first Slope
Editions Book Prize. He is also author of the poetry book Amnesia
(Oberlin College Press, 2003), which won the Field Poetry Prize. His poems
have appeared in many journals including Field, Octopus, The Literary
Review, The Boston Review, Tarpaulin Sky, and Ploughshares, from
which he won a Cohen Award for his poem "Sestina: Bob." That poem was also
the recipient of a Pushcart Prize.
