NICOLAJ STOCHHOLM
Nicolaj
Stochholm was born in Charlottelund, Denmark, in 1966, and studied
Nordic languages at Copenhagen University. He co-edited with Anni Sumari
the Slope Editions international anthology The Other Side of Landscape
(2006). His books include 25 Poems and a Dream, Collected Poems
(2000), Reconstruction (1998), The Merging (1992), and
Biography (1991). His poetry has been translated into more than ten
languages, including English, Swedish, Spanish, German, French and
Icelandic. His honors include receiving the honorary medal of the Danish
Writers Union, the Royal Danish Academy's Beatrice Award, and the Michael
Strunge Poetry Prize. Formerly living in Spain, France and Ireland, he
currently resides in Copenhagen.
