ABOUT SLOPE EDITIONS
Slope
Editions was created by Ethan Paquin and Christopher Janke in 2001 with the
same goal in mind as the online literary journal Slope - to present readers
a fine and eclectic array of poetry being written in English today. Each
year, we will release several well-chosen and stylistically diverse softcover,
perfect-bound books that defy convention and categorization.
Slope Editions represents the first major print publishing offshoot of an
established online literary journal. We are excited at this distinction,
and at the possibilities before us in both e- and paper media. We also
believe the Web to be the most convenient place for our audience to access
and purchase our authors' work.
Among those who have taken note of our work are Publishers Weekly, Poets
& Writers, PN Review, and other publications across the world. Our
titles are distributed to the trade by
SPD
and Baker &
Taylor.
Slope Editions is part of
Slope Publishing Inc., a registered non-profit literary and educational
organization with 501(c)(3) status. Contributions are welcome.
